Huskies Set To Take On Toledo In Motor City
Bowl
 The
waiting is over for the UConn team and its
fans. The Husky opponent for the 2004 Motor
City Bowl will be Toledo.
The Motor City
Bowl is scheduled for Monday, December 27 at
Ford Field in Detroit.
The Rockets
defeated Miami of Ohio on Thursday, Dec. 9, in
the
Mid-American Conference Championship game
by a score of 35-27 at Ford Field.
Toledo
finished the regular season with a 9-3
record and have won nine of their last 10
games after dropping the first two of the
season. In the latest Associated Press poll,
they are the second-highest team in the
"Also Receiving Votes" category.
The Huskies
will need the support of all their fans in
