Edsall and Orlovsky Travel To Motor City Bowl Media Day

UConn head football coach Randy Edsall and quarterback Dan Orlovsky got a preview of what to expect -- both from Ford Field and their opposition -- at the annual Motor City Bowl Media day.

The event was held at beautiful Ford Field on Wednesday afternoon and the Huskies were represented by Edsall and Orlovsky while UConn's opponent -- Toledo -- was represented by head coach Tom Amstutz and linebacker David Thomas.

All four individuals spent part of the event with Alex Ingesoulian from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Ingesoulian will perform the opening coin toss at the Dec. 27 game. (Photo courtesy of Steve Perez -- The Detroit News).

UConn is the first program in history to transform from an NCAA Division I-AA program into a member of a Bowl Championship Series Conference.

"UConn fans, we appreciate the tremendous support you have shown all season. Now, for our first bowl game, we need you more than ever. A school that travels well sends a powerful message not only this year but for the future too."
