UConn donated tickets that were purchased by Husky fans who could not attend the game to military personnel and family members of the Michigan Army National Guard and the Michigan Air National Guard from Selfridge Air Force Base in Mount Clemens, Mich. Tickets purchased by UConn fans were also given to the American Red Cross, Goodwill Industries, Focus Hope-Minority Job Readiness and Special Olympics.
